The sudden downpour of rain got me thinking back to January when we had lots of rain! There are some great things to do in the county in the rain – whether you don’t mind getting wet or fancy staying dry!
With all the rain we’ve had recently, I’ve been thinking about the best places I’ve visited in Kent to avoid getting wet.

Maidstone Museum & Bentlif Art Gallery
Maidstone Museum is a gem, set in an Elizabethan Manor House with Victorian, 20th and 21st Century wings, there is much to explore. Free to enter, the museum offers a wide range activities for children (including sleep-overs!)
