A Child’s Weekend in London…

Recently, my son was given a fun London sticker book.

Each page focuses on key tourist attractions with amusing stickers to complete the scene.

When I heard about the ‘London Life’ competition being run by Tots100 and the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, it got me thinking.

The competition is to win a 5* family break at the hotel by sharing what you and your family would get up to on your ideal London break, while staying at the Royal Garden Hotel.

Now if it were my ideal break there would be some shopping, an afternoon tea in a fancy hotel and then a West End show.

But I thought I’d let my son decide on out ideal family break. So, I found his sticker book and we talked about where we could go.

First stop…

a boat trip along the Thames

Hopefully with the flying speed boat and passenger ferry!

Travelling up from Kent in the morning, we’d book a lunch cruise to get us ready for our next excursion to…

Trafalgar Square

We’d have fun having photos with the lions and popping in to the National Gallery afterwards.

It would then be time for dinner back at The Royal Garden Hotel.

Bright and early the next morning we would venture over to…

London Zoo

Hopefully the flamingos that seemed to have escaped their enclosure will have been safely returned (at least it wasn’t the tigers that escaped!).

We’d make a day of it at London Zoo and before we got our train home, we’d head over to…

Piccadilly Circus

Our imaginary weekend in London has been fun…

What have we missed though?

Where else would you visit?
