A Beautiful Day Out at Quex Park

Many, many years ago I went to the Powell Cotton Museum at Quex Park as a field trip at University.

I can remember the trip vividly and it reminds me of my university days.

So I always enjoying visiting Quex Park 🙂

Over the summer, they’ve got fun ‘Around the World’ themed workshops.

On the day we visited, the focus was India.

My eldest got to make a very cool shield which is based on shields in the museum’s very own collection.

After exploring the museum and all it has to offer, we spent the rest of our visit in the beautiful grounds.

Although we’ve been a number of times before, we’ve never been in to the walled garden.

It was time to put that right…

A gorgeous day out!
